From this winter we propose Heliski in Valgrisenche & La Thuile "at star" : it means that we advise our guests to accommodate in some of the best hotels down the Valley (see Hotel proposals) and to start from there in the morning.
This solution requires yes some driving in the morning (maximum 30 min.) but gives you a lot more flexibility in case of bad weather or bad snow conditions!
The mountain guide will come to pick you up every morning and based on the weather and snow conditions he will explain and decide what is the best option for the day: in case it is not possible to fly neither in Valgrisenche nor in La Thuile, you will be a lot closer to the main best ski resorts in Aosta Valley such as:
- Pila - fast and easy access from Aosta;
- Crevacol - little ski resort on the border with Switzerland, perfect for off piste in case of bad weather;
- Courmayeur - one of the best ski resorts in Aosta Valley in front of the Mont Blanc chain;
- La Thuile - one of the largest ski resorts in Aosta Valley with its 150 km of pists, located at N/W of Valgrisenche (see our Map), and connected to the French ski resort of La Rosière.
