The Rosablanche (3,396 mt.), located 3.5km to the south-east of Mont Fort, can be easily reached by skitouring.
The slopes on the Grand Désert Glacier gently lead down to Siviez: this is a classic run ideal for intermediate skiers who would like to experience the thrill of a heli-ski drop.
The steep descent which leads straight down to the valley of Severeu to should be skied only in stable snow conditions.
The descents down the Prafleuri valley, the Mourti Glacier and the Fenêtre d’Allèves end in the village of Pralong (Val des Dix) and require several minutes of skinning.
The descents down the Prafleuri and Mourti glaciers partially run aside the famous and imposing lake of the Grande Dixence dam.
If you are starting from Verbier, be aware that the 4 Vallées lift system connection close at 2:30 pm.
